I feel ya sister! For years, I watched as my friends easily went to restaurants and meanwhile I was nearly breaking out in a sweat to see if there was anything I could eat that was on the menu. For years food, my body, and everything in between took up so much brain space! I either had to be so restrictive and obsessive (and have everyone comment about it too…like #notyourbusiness), or try to go with the flow, eat what I wanted only to hate what I saw in the mirror a week and ten pounds later.

I was deep in the throws of a 10 year battle with bulimia and I was desperately searching for a better way.
Fortunately, at the same time, started teaching Pilates. And I realized I wasn’t only one with body image issues and food fears. In my quest to find a solution to heal my relationship with food and with my body, I was able to successfully recover with no psychological or medical intervention from bulimia and walk…no….strut down the runway of the Miss CA USA pageant in a bikini in front of thousand.

It was then that I knew the truth! ​​​​​​​
No more food fears. ​​​​​​​No more daily body obsession.
​​​​​​​No more beating my body up in hardcore workouts only to GAIN WEIGHT.

I was free.​

Because it was never about the food.
After working with hundreds of client’s of all different sizes and shapes and genders as both a Pilates instructor and as a certified high performance coach, it didn’t matter whether someone was technically fat or technically thin, or worked out twice a day everyday or worked out once a week, or eat super healthy or ate junk. That shit was only 20% of the problem.

The other 80% that was the key to EVERYTHING was how they thought about the food and how they thought about their bodies.
